The next Ontario provincial election is on October 10, 2007. It can't come soon enough for dog owners in the province, who have been counting the days until they can send the McGuinty Liberals packing. The Liberals brought in their unfounded, ineffective dog breed ban - one which affects every dog owner regardless of their breed of choice - despite widespread opposition to the plan. Dalton McGuinty doesn't think dog owners matter. He is about to find out how wrong he can be. The DLCC understands responsible dog owners because we are responsible dog owners ourselves. We know that you have issues which are not covered in the mainstream media or brought up during debates at election time. Over the next few weeks, we will be providing updates, interviews and other information of interest to people who want to vote for dog-friendly candidates in Ontario's upcoming election. Don't sit this one out - get to the polls on October 10 and exercise your right to vote. It could be your dog's last chance.
