Dear Citizens of
I sit here writing you this letter on a crisp fall morning, hot coffee by my side, enjoying the quiet of the morning.
I’m watching my litter of 11 week old pups romp and play in the warming sunshine, and thinking how lucky they are not to be on the “banned breed in
They are all going to good families. They will be well loved and important members of their families. I’m also thinking about the 6 “pit bull” pups I have smuggled out of the province over the last year. I wonder how much longer I will have to play the “criminal”. How many more pups will my friends and I have to label “boxer pups” to get these poor abandoned babies vet care or get them into rescue to be shipped out of province?

At 6 weeks, we sent him to rescue.
Last night the rescue emailed me to tell me Bob had been adopted into a wonderful family. Great news!! I hope Bob NEVER comes back to

I can imagine myself sitting in a jail cell, surrounded by murders, rapists, drug dealers and child molesters, answering their question “what are you in for”?
I will answer truthfully and say, “I smuggled ‘pit bull’ puppies out of the
